AQUA OBSIDIAN is formed as the result of volcanic lava coming in contact with water. Often, the lava pours into a lake or ocean and is cooled quickly. This process produces a glassy texture in the resulting rock.

Along with having the general properties of Obsidian, AQUA OBSIDIAN stimulates the throat chakra and enhances communication.  It is also known to boost intuition and insight and improve psychic communication. 

It is a  Protector Stone for sensitive or psychic people. It provides a great defense against negative psychic energy and also gives a general sense of calm and well-being.
